How does the Melalight lamp help me relax?

MELALIGHT features a calming 660 nm red light wavelength — a spectrum widely studied in red light research and considered less disruptive to melatonin compared to blue or white light. Designed to align with your body's natural evening rhythm, MELALIGHT helps create a softer, more relaxing nighttime whole room environment that supports your wind-down routine.

What makes MELALIGHT different from cheaper red light bulbs?

Unlike inexpensive red light bulbs designed simply to change the color of a room, MELALIGHT was intentionally created as a nighttime wellness experience. Many standard red bulbs use inconsistent light spectrums and can appear harsh, bright, or pink-toned, while MELALIGHT features a softly diffused 660 nm red glow designed to create a calming whole-room ambiance for your nightly wind-down.

What does it look like when not in use

By day, a soft frosted glass silhouette—by night, a calming red glow designed for your wind-down.

When should I use it?

You can use it daily for as long as you need to relax. Place nearby—on your nightstand, coffee table, or bedside. Ideally use for 30–60 minutes as you relax, read, or prepare for bed.

How do I use my MELALIGHT lamp?

    Power On

    Tap the MELALIGHT button to turn on your light.

    Customize Your Glow

    Press and hold the MELALIGHT button to gently dim or brighten to your preferred level.

    Choose Your Timer (Optional)

    Select a 30 or 60 minute timer using the buttons on the back of the lamp. MELALIGHT will automatically turn off, allowing you to relax into your evening routine.

    Enjoy Continuous Light

    Prefer to keep your glow on longer? Simply leave the timer off and enjoy uninterrupted light for as long as you'd like.

    Recharge When Needed

    Recharge using the included USB-C cable. The indicator light above the charging port:

    • Flashing Red = Battery low
    • Solid Red = Charging
    • Solid Green = Fully charged

    A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

Do I need to keep my eyes open to get the benefits?

Your eyes can be open or closed. The 660 nm red light creates a calming environment that helps signal your body to wind-down for sleep. For best results, avoid wearing an eye mask, as it may block the light.

How do I charge Melalight and for how long?

It includes a USB-C charging cable. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours and provides up to 4–12 hours of use, depending on brightness level used.

Why does each wood base look slightly different?

Because MELALIGHT uses real natural wood, each base features its own unique grain, texture, and subtle color variation. These natural differences are not defects—they're part of the character and beauty of authentic wood.
